Job summary

Zendr is seeking a Product Quality Owner to own risk-based validation for a B2B freight platform. You will decide what to validate, in what order, and why, building a compelling evidence-based risk model to guide every release decision.

This strategy-focused role requires hands-on validation, collaborating with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering, and avoiding pure test-execution or QA engineering duties. You will shape testing strategy across complex, integration-heavy product flows.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree with at least 3 years of higher education.
• 5+ years in QA or testing with analytical, risk-based quality work.
• Ability to own quality or release decisions.
• Proven ability to create structure in ambiguity.
• Strong communication to align stakeholders.
• Hands-on exploratory and regression testing of complex products.
• Fluency with AI tooling for test generation and analysis.
• Fluent English; Swedish a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product's risk model - what can break, what it costs the customer, and where validation effort should go
• Own release readiness: your recommendation is the basis for every release decision - you define what "ready" means per release and back each ship-or-hold call with documented evidence
• Drive bug refinement on a regular cadence and keep the backlog honest and prioritised against real customer and business impact
• Inventory, risk-triage and validate features shipped behind feature flags before they roll out to customer segments
• Run exploratory testing of new functionality and regression on critical flows - carrier integrations, rates, labels and the messy real-world edge cases of a logistics product
• Drive the regression automation you need through the development teams rather than building it all yourself
• Bring risk thinking into product discovery, acceptance criteria and definition of done, before development starts
