Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Sweden seeks a Product Engineer to lead control performance and simulation model lifecycles within the Product Portfolio Management team. You will coordinate with R&D, GPS, and engineering to ensure robust, standards-compliant models and clear documentation across technologies.

The role emphasizes governance, strategic planning, and cross-border collaboration to enhance performance and competitiveness. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in control system performance, dynamic simulations, or modeling governance.
• Experience working with cross-functional, international teams.
• Desirable product ownership, lifecycle management, or portfolio governance.
• A strategic and operational mindset focused on productivity and maintainability.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Translate market needs and standards into Product Requirement Specifications and roadmaps.
• Oversee lifecycle and governance of control platform and simulation models.
• Drive development, maintenance, and governance of modelling guidelines and references.
• Manage portfolio of simulation models across technologies and platforms.
• Stay current with industry standards and promote innovative control concepts.
• Capture tender/project feedback and lead continuous improvements.
• Collaborate across disciplines and regions to align expectations.
• Support IP protection and model-sharing strategies with stakeholders.
