Job summary

Saint-Gobain Ecophon AB is seeking a Product Engineer to join our Product Engineering team and help ensure our acoustic products meet regulatory, acoustic, and design expectations. You will collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Marketing, and Supply Chain from our Hyllinge-based location near Helsingborg.

You will drive improvements, manage documentation, and support industrialization and new acoustic solutions in a global context.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Relevant experience preferred in construction or building materials.
• Strong technical and mechanical understanding.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably Inventor.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Technical ownership of assigned product ranges, including compliance and documentation.
• Drive product improvements, quality enhancements, and cost optimization.
• Lead technical investigations and support root cause analyses.
• Coordinate product changes across the organization.
• Maintain product documentation and engineering data.

• Contribute to innovation projects and new acoustic solutions.

About the Position

As a Product Engineer, you will help ensure our products meet customer expectations regarding regulatory requirements, acoustics, sustainability and design. Working closely with R&D, Production, Quality, Marketing, and Supply Chain, you will support both existing products and future innovations.

Key responsibilities:

The position is part of Ecophon’s R&D and Innovation Department and is based in Hyllinge, Sweden.
