Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of one of the largest and most important digital services in Sweden!

At Kivra, we are building services that connect over 6 million people with more than 50 000 senders in both the private and public sector. We provide a safe and accessible digital infrastructure that everyone in Sweden can trust and use. Millions of our users receive and pay their invoices in Kivra every month. And these numbers are growing rapidly.

About the role

As a Product Designer in Kivra's Payments team your job will be to ensure a holistic, human‑centric approach to product development, shaping the domain UX/CX strategy, and coordinating design work. Payments is a strategic area of high importance for Kivra and we are investing to take a leading position.

Part of this role is to lead all aspects of the design process, from exploration to launch, ensuring an insight‑driven approach, and following Kivra’s Design System. As a Product Designer in Payments you will also:

  • Scope, design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research and testing
  • Partner with other cross‑functional teams to align design solutions with business goals
  • Contribute to shaping our people‑first design culture and processes

We strongly believe that working in autonomous cross‑functional teams is the best way to develop products. You will be at the very heart of that process. Together with the teams you will be responsible to deeply understand the needs of our users and customers and bring our visions to life, by collaborating cross‑functionally with product owners, designers, developers, sales, and our partners, throughout the entire creative and development process.

As a Product Designer you will be working together with the two product teams in the Payments Domain and report to the Product Manager.

At Kivra we value great attitude. It’s as simple as that! You will work hands‑on in a dynamic environment where both fast decision making and longer term strategy are part of the challenge.

About you
  • You have 5+ experience as UX/Product designer.
  • You have a Master’s degree in design or other relevant education.
  • You have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX research, strategy, and design.
  • You have a broad understanding of people‑centric methods and proficiency in design tools.
  • You have excellent project management skills.
Moreover, we believe that you
  • Are a strong communicator who can effectively share design decisions to leadership, across the organization, and to relevant external stakeholders.
  • Thrive in an environment where transparent communication and short feedback loops are encouraged.
  • You have solid knowledge of accessibility principles and are familiar with WCAG guidelines to ensure inclusive and user‑friendly design.
  • Have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
  • Have the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse professionals within and across product teams, skill teams, and departments.
  • Are a team player, just like us!

It’s also a plus if you have experience from any of the following areas: payments and invoicing, invoice life cycle processes, or merchant checkouts.

At Kivra, we encourage a self‑leadership approach based on a proactive mindset to problem‑solving, well suited to our agile product development practice. Flexibility and adaptability are important qualities, to be able to adjust to changing circumstances and situations. Moreover, we believe in automation and staying ahead by embracing emerging technology, and AI is no exception. We're looking for people who take a proactive approach to AI, actively exploring how it can sharpen their work and help you and the team work smarter.

We offer

Kivra offers a role in a caring and committed team, in a company that is growing and continuously innovating. You’ll join a warm and friendly culture that thrives on collaboration and teamwork. You will be involved in shaping and influencing a product currently used by more than half of Sweden’s population.

We offer competitive remuneration and great benefits. We offer the flexibility that life sometimes requires, but we believe that collaboration and value creation happens best when we sit and work together from our office in central Stockholm.
