Papershell AB is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic procurement and supplier management for our scaling Flagship Factory in Tibro, Sweden. Initially hands-on, the role will evolve to oversee the entire supply chain across procurement, logistics and distribution.
You'll work cross-functionally with Scaling, Development and Finance, building supplier governance and a robust sourcing function to support growth and international collaborations.
PaperShell develops and manufactures a biobased material that replaces aluminium, plastics and glass fibre composites. We're entering a significant industrial scale-up with our Flagship Factory — and, after that, replication of the factory concept.
That means procuring production equipment, automation, construction works and utilities at serious scale, while building the supply flows that need to hold up as volumes grow. We're looking for our first Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to make that happen.
You'll be PaperShell's central capability within procurement, commercial supplier management and supply chain. Initially the role is operational and hands‑on, with significant ownership of strategic sourcing and supplier relationships. Over time it develops into broader responsibility for our entire supply chain — and you'll build the organisation required within Procurement, Logistics and Distribution. The team will grow as the Flagship Factory approaches operation.
You'll report to the Site Manager and sit organisationally within the factory, working cross-functionally with Scaling, Development and Finance.
One clear boundary: the technical function owns requirements and technical solution. You own the sourcing process, commercial evaluation, negotiation and contracts.
Nice to have: construction, installation or project procurement (strongly preferred); experience developing procurement processes, supplier governance or a supply chain organisation; an academic background in industrial engineering and management or engineering; familiarity with procurement systems/ERP and contract management tools.
You don't need to be a technical specialist — but you do need to understand technical questions well enough to translate them into commercial structures.
Commercially minded and a strong negotiator. Structured and analytical, but pragmatic enough to get things done. Technically curious. Confident making your own decisions, good at building relationships while staying clear on commercial terms.
You thrive in a fast‑growing organisation and move easily between strategy and execution. The role calls for sound decisions before all the information is in — and for creating structure without losing pace.
