Job summary

Vertiv Sweden seeks a Procurement Manager - Services to lead purchasing and vendor relationships for the Scandinavian region. You will negotiate terms, optimize costs, and ensure timely deliveries while supporting project teams.

In this role you’ll manage supplier contracts, maintain price databases, and drive cost reductions through cross-functional collaboration across operations, PM, and sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Procurement or supply chain in a related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• English and Swedish spoken language.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing of commodities such as products, batteries, installation materials, and project services from third parties in required quantity and quality.
• Negotiate terms, secure best prices, and ensure on-time deliveries in line with Vertiv policies.
• Create/update vendor price lists and organize vendor meetings for cost reductions; establish contracts with vendors with internal parties.
• Order placement, verify supplier acknowledgements against system data, and correct discrepancies.
• Support project management and sales teams to improve project margins and delivery performance.

We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager - Services to join our dynamic team in Scandinavia!

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Responsible for purchasing of commodities such as products, batteries, installation materials, project services from 3rd in the required quantity and proper quality. Controlling of purchase requisitions, securing best prices and on time deliveries. Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with Vertiv policies and procedures.
• Creating and updating database for vendor price lists, organizing periodical meetings with the vendors to help cost reduction and also making contracts with vendors together with related internal parties.
• Order placing, check and compare purchase order acknowledgements from suppliers with purchase orders entered into the system to discover and correct discrepancies in pricing, delivery dates and other required conditions.
• Assist in efforts to pursue cost reduction in the guidance of the purchasing supervisor. Continuous effort to observe market trends and search for alternative potential suppliers.
• Checking suppliers' invoices, hold & approvals when needed.
• Supporting Project Management and Sales teams through make effort on project margin improvement
• Coordinating with OPC, Project Management and Operation teams to secure on time deliveries, avoid excess stock
• Main KPIs: Hard savings, E-sourcing, Payment terms, VMI (vendor managed inventory) if applicable
• Market search and offer collection and following negotiations with the suppliers for sales projects
• Effective communication with Suppliers, Internal Customers, Vertiv management
• Act according to Vertiv internal procedures

What will make you successful?

• 3+ years’ experience in Procurement or supply chain in a supply chain related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• English and Swedish spoken language

Additional / Preferred Qualifications: -

• Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform under pressure in a very fast paced, complex, and dynamic environment
• Effectively communicate and influence positive results.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously

• High negotiating skills
• MS Excel, Outlook, Oracle optional
