Job summary

HEAD Engineering AB in Sweden is seeking a Process Engineer to join our growing team in Nacka Strand. You will contribute to process plant projects, spanning process engineering, procurement, and technical documentation from early design through start-up.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers and suppliers, preparing specifications, evaluating quotations, and ensuring compliant drawings and manuals are delivered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Interest in process equipment and how complete industrial plants are designed and built.
• Structured way of working and interest in technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and suppliers.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Good general computer skills and ability to work with technical documentation, specifications and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to travel internationally for shorter or longer periods.

Responsibilities

• Process design and development of production processes.
• Preparation and review of PFDs and P&IDs.
• Preparation of equipment and component specifications.
• Preparation of technical enquiries and RFQ documentation.
• Procurement of process equipment and components.
• Technical and commercial communication with Swedish and international suppliers.
• Follow-up of purchase orders, manufacturing and delivery schedules.
• Coordination and review of vendor documentation.
• Installation supervision at site.
• Commissioning and start-up.
• Training of customer personnel.
