Job summary

Lyten is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support and maintain facility and utility systems in Västerås, Sweden. This role involves operating, inspecting, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations for pressure equipment, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining utilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facility, utility, or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and equipment specifications.
• Experience in industrial, clean room, or dry room environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain facility and utility systems.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities.
• Support inspections and compliance requirements for pressure equipment.

Skills

Troubleshooting plumbing and electrical systems

Knowledge of AFS 2023:11 requirements

Ability to identify deterioration mechanisms

Familiarity with Pressure Equipment Directive principles

Knowledge of FLT and risk assessment methodologies

Understanding of HVAC and ventilation systems

Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning tools

Basic understanding of PLC and automation interfaces

Education

Technical education in maintenance or utilities
