Job summary

Lyten Labs AB is seeking an experienced Facility & Utility Technician based in Västerås, Sweden. This role involves the safe operation, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, and compliance of pressurized equipment and systems. You will also support risk assessments and facility improvement projects.

The ideal candidate should have a technical education in maintenance and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving skills and a safety-first attitude are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in facility, utility or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with pressure vessels, compressed air systems and associated safety equipment.
• Knowledge of AFS2023:11 requirements and pressure equipment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect and maintain facility, utility and pressurized systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain records related to inspections, maintenance, repairs, modifications and statutory compliance.

Skills

Troubleshoot plumbing and electrical systems

Identify deterioration mechanisms and equipment defects

Familiarity with PED principles and pressure equipment classification

Knowledge of FLT and risk assessment methodologies

Problem-solving for mechanical and utility systems

Understanding of HVAC, ventilation, electrical distribution

Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning tools

Basic understanding of PLC and automation interfaces

Strong organizational and communication skills

Education

Technical education in maintenance, utilities, facilities
