Job summary

The successful candidate will analyze genomic, transcriptomic, DNA methylation data, develop computational pipelines, and collaborate with KI, KTH, and Science for Life Laboratory. A strong bioinformatics background is required.

Qualifications

  • PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, computer science, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (R/Python) and Linux command line.
  • Experience with sequencing data analysis and multi-omics integration.
  • Strong data management and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze genomic, transcriptomic, and DNA methylation data.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines for genomic and transcriptomic analyses.
  • Work with single-cell and spatial omics data.
  • Apply biostatistical methods to clinical cohort data.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, bioinformaticians, and computational scientists.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
