Job summary

Karolinska Institutet invites applications for a postdoctoral scholarship in bioinformatics focused on breast cancer, precision medicine, and translational cancer biology. You will analyze multi-omics data, develop pipelines, and contribute to AI-assisted pathology studies with collaborators at KI, KTH, and SciLifeLab.

The successful candidate holds a PhD in a quantitative field, excels in R/Python, Linux, and has a strong track record in sequencing data analysis.

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, computer science, or quantitative field.
• Proficiency in R and Python; Linux command-line experience.
• Experience with sequencing data analysis (DNA/RNA/methylation) is required.
• Experience with spatial transcriptomics or single-cell data is advantageous.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Analyze genomic, transcriptomic, and DNA methylation data with pipelines.
• Develop and maintain computational analysis pipelines for omics data.
• Collaborate across clinical, bioinformatic, and computational teams.
