Job summary

Coretura builds a software platform for commercial vehicles and operates Customer Zero to validate releases before Volvo and Daimler. You will own the technical environment that makes Customer Zero credible, ensuring the build environment and tools work in an OEM context.

Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure as code on AWS, managing the developer portal, and setting up validations for every release.

Qualifications

• Embedded software development experience.
• Strong infrastructure as code experience, ideally Terraform on AWS.
• Hands-on experience running container workloads with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
• Nice to have exposure to ISO 21434/26262 or ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical environment for Customer Zero to behave like a real customer.
• Build and maintain the infrastructure and developer portal; keep the build environment operational.
• Set up routine validation on every release to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Customer Zero Lead and Quality Release Engineers; own the cloud domain of the simulated customer environment.
• Communicate findings clearly and align developers and stakeholders across teams.

Join the Revolution in Commercial Vehicle Tech at Coretura!

At Coretura we build one software platform for commercial vehicles, and we deliver it as a single product to multiple customers including Volvo and Daimler. It is never finished: every change we make reaches both manufacturers, often several times a week. That kind of tempo is only possible if you can prove a release is solid before it leaves the building. That is why we built Customer Zero.

What is Customer Zero?

Customer Zero is the Coretura canary OEM: a real, production-shaped tenant run as if it were an external customer, with its own identities, its own network, and its own access boundary, outside the internal Coretura network. It is the first real recipient of every release, and the point is simple: find what is broken or rough before Volvo, Daimler, or the next OEM does.

What You Will Be Doing

You own the technical environment that makes Customer Zero credible, not just that it exists, but that it genuinely behaves like the environment of a real customer, by making sure the build environment and development tools work in an OEM context.

In practice, that means building and maintaining the infrastructure, keeping the developer portal and development environment operational. Setting up routine validation on every release to make sure that every release is better than the last. You will team up with our Customer Zero Lead and work closely with Quality Release Engineers and own the technical cloud domain of the simulated customer environment.

Communication is at the heart of the role. Customer Zero sits between teams, so you will spend much of your time sharing what you find, explaining why it matters, and aligning developers and stakeholders around it. You communicate in a way that builds trust and brings people together.

What you will be working with:

• AWS infrastructure provisioning as code with Terraform and Virtual Engineering Workbench
• Our developer portal, built in Next.js and Bun
• Docker, GitHub actions, Gerrit, other CI systems
• Artifactory, ECS, Grafana
• Playwright, Python or other test frameworks

We believe you bring

• Previous experience developing embedded software
• Solid experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform on AWS
• Hands-on experience running container-based workloads with Docker and ECS/Fargate
• Confidence in GitHub, building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or CI tools.
• Experience from functional safety or cyber security development, such as ISO- 21434, ISO-26262 or ISO 27001, is a plus rather than a requirement.
