Already recognized as a leader in the rapidly emerging motion modality; one of the six fundamental generative AI modalities alongside image, video, audio, text, and geometry, we’re transforming how studios produce lifelike, dynamic animation.

By combining our proprietary Motion Capture dataset with cutting-edge diffusion models, we're reducing one of the biggest bottlenecks in gaming and cinematic production: the need for expensive, time‑running MoCap sessions or manual keyframing.

Studios that once spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on animation can now create production‑ready sequences in minutes.

With early demand from major studios and rapid scaling ahead, we now need to ensure our own teams can build, test, and deploy faster, more securely, and more reliably than ever. That’s where you come in.

The Role:

As our first Platform Engineer, you will be the foundation of our internal developer platform. You’ll design and maintain the systems that keep our development capacity high while ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency.

You’ll define the “paved road” for developer experience, implement security best practices, and optimize our cloud usage for AI/ML workloads. Your work will directly influence how quickly we deliver breakthroughs to customers, while keeping our platform resilient and compliant.

What you will do:

• Provide common infrastructure guidance, reusable patterns, and automated tooling to engineering teams.
• Own the “paved road” for developers, reducing friction and cognitive load.
• Champion and implement security best practices across the entire platform.
• Play a key role in achieving ISO 27001 certification through technical implementation and evidence gathering.
• Build and operate a highly reliable and cost‑efficient platform, with particular focus on optimizing GPU‑heavy AI/ML workloads.

Weekly/Recurring Responsibilities:

• Manage CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and track key metrics like build times, deployment frequency, and failure rates.
• Oversee cloud environments (AWS, GCP), including health, security, and cost reporting.
• Lead security scans, audits, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, GCP Logging), ensuring meaningful dashboards and alerts.
• Act as point‑of‑contact for ML Research team’s infra requests (GPU access, specialized pipelines).
• Be the first line of support for developer infrastructure issues.
• Define and own the platform roadmap, prioritizing high‑impact improvements.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps, ideally in high‑growth or AI/ML‑heavy environments.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and containerization (/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and incident response best practices.
• Security mindset with hands‑on experience in audits, compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.), and vulnerability management.
• Strong communication skills; you’ll be interfacing with developers daily and need to translate infrastructure into clarity, not complexity.
• A proactive, solution‑oriented mindset: you anticipate friction before others feel it.
