Overview

We are extending our nuclear transformation team with a Performance & improvement lead keen on driving and refining performance within the nuclear business. Your responsibilities

Nuclear transformation is responsible for driving business development and culture within the nuclear portfolio and to be the center for best practice and cooperation within the nuclear function and with the Uniper group. In this role you will drive the performance processes and culture within the nuclear fleet, our operating units and our sites in decommissioning. The work is done in a cross-functional way where you will work closely with the executive nuclear management team as well as with the nuclear fleet function and stakeholders within the business. Driving change and setting excellence standards will be the top of your agenda. You will act as a role model improving our standards and steering KPIs. Develop and streamline the processes to ensure the output is of value for the nuclear portfolio and the executive team.

We are ramping up our digitisation transformation journey, where you are expected to drive and contribute within your area of responsibility.

What will be your job?
  • Develop and enhance performance culture within Uniper Nuclear
  • Support the alignment and optimization of Performance Management System
  • Monitor, develop and challenge KPIs at both asset and portfolio levels to drive performance insights and decision-making with an in-year and tactical focus (1-2 years)
  • Coordinate and execute communication activities within the nuclear function and support relevant functional interfaces regarding overarching communication obligations
  • Drive the digitalisation of the performance management system, enhancing data quality, automation and integration
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of performance improvement initiatives
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various functions, fostering alignment and adoption of performance management best practices

You will be part of a team of six people with different responsibilities, supporting and helping each other in our common goal to drive the business forward. You report to the Head of Nuclear Transformation. In Frida Liedberg you get an open-minded manager with high energy eager to help you perform and develop in your role.

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure, and our operations are covered by, among other things, rules related to protective security, export control and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Uniper is part of Sweden´s vital societal functions and critical infrastructure which is why this position may be subject to wartime placement. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.

Your profile

We are not looking for a superwoman or superman, however we expect you to share our love for performance improvement and driving change. We know you understand change takes time and that you have the perseverance to keep driving it. A proactive “can do” attitude is key to us.

To succeed we believe you have a high sense of ownership, capacity to work on various topics in parallel with strong focus on quality while keeping deadlines. Our business is not static, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with continuous improvement mindset will come in handy. Since you will drive the digitalisation of the performance management system, an interest for this is a must.

  • Project management/coordination experience
  • Work experience from performance management and/or operational excellence
  • Academic university degree in relevant field for the job
  • Excellent language and communication skills in Swedish and English
