At ENEQUI, we build intelligent software that controls, optimizes, and balances energy in real buildings, in real time. Our AI‑driven systems help property owners reduce electricity costs, cut peak demand, optimize solar energy and storage, and manage energy more intelligently in both homes and businesses. This isn't about dashboards that display numbers. It's about code that makes decisions, controls hardware, and moves energy where it does the most good.

We're now looking for a developer who wants to help build the core control intelligence itself, and who also wants to develop the interfaces where users interact with it.

About the role

You’ll work with the heart of our platform: the logic that optimizes energy use, controls charging and storage, and balances load against spot prices and demand tariffs. You’ll build the systems that make real‑time decisions and connect cloud, controllers, and inverters into a coherent product.

You’ll also help develop our web interfaces and mobile app, so that the intelligence you build becomes useful and clear for the people who actually use it. Energy control is the core; app and web are the surfaces where it becomes real.

What you’ll do

• Develop and improve logic for energy optimization, scheduling, and control of storage and charging
• Build and extend backend, APIs, data flows, and integrations with inverters and edge devices
• Work with telemetry and time‑series data from real buildings
• Further develop our Flutter app and web interfaces: functionality, performance, and release workflows
• Ensure quality, stability, and scalability through testing, observability, and CI/CD
• Work AI‑driven in daily development and take full ownership of the end result

Qualifications

• Experience with Python
• Experience with backend development and API design
• Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL
• Comfortable delivering software in teams with Git workflows and code review
• Daily habit of working AI‑driven in the development flow (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Codex)

Bonus points for

• Experience with energy optimization, scheduling, or other complex optimization problems
• IoT or device integrations, telemetry, and time‑series data
• Experience with Flutter or other mobile development
• Internal tooling or platforms for operations, support, or configuration
