Dolphin Group is seeking milk farm workers for a newly established dairy on Öland Island, Sweden. This is a self-employed assignment with the client, offering a demanding 48-hour week with early morning milking shifts and calf care duties.

About this recruitment

We are recruiting 1–2 milk farm workers (or an experienced couple) for a new client – a recently established dairy farm on Öland Island, Sweden. The position is offered as a self-employed assignment through Dolphin Group.

Working hours and pay

Minimum 48 hours per week. Work is planned at present to:

Milking 04.00 – 07.00, Calf care 07.00 – 08.00, then free time until 14.00 – 15.00 calf care, milking 15.00-18.00. Wednesday to Monday, Tuesdays off.

Swedish Self Employment recruitment (expected fiscal expenses 37% – depends on annual income level), alternative posted self-employed from the country of residence, rules apply.

Qualifications

Overall assessment of positive details such as:

Candidate profile

A candidate man or woman who have experience with milk farming, handling cows and calves.

Selection process

14-day probationary test

If approved, the candidate travels to the site for a 14-day probationary test period. Test hours are compensated at €15/hour.

Regular contract

If approved after the test period, a 6-month contract commences, with possibility of extension to long-term.

Tasks

Dealing with the milking process and handling mainly cows and calves.

The ultimate client

Well established family farm with current staff from Sweden and Poland.

Accommodation

Accommodation follows Dolphin Group minimum standards including WIFI available. Individual bedrooms and shared kitchen and toilets.

The accommodation is on the farm with own two rooms, kitchen and toilet.

Closest supermarket, pharmacy, health centre at main city 4.5 km away.

Bed cloth NOT provided by client. Work cloth provided by client.

Paid travel to and from country of origin at arrival and departure by Dolphin Group Company at assignment less than a year (not paid break travel during assignment).

• Offered Swedish Self Employment as partner with assistance to get registered and filing to authorities.
• Support by Dolphin internal staff for, administration, travel and miscellaneous details.
• Candidate must have a full passport (not only national ID).
