Job summary

WirelessCar in Sweden is seeking a Java Developer with a strong operations mindset to join our team building cloud-based vehicle services. This hands-on role blends software development with cloud operations (Azure), automation, and production support.

You will develop backend services, help operate production systems, improve observability, and automate deployment and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineers, architects, QA and other stakeholders to keep services reliable and scalable

Do you enjoy building software, working with cloud technologies and making sure services run reliably in production? Are you looking for great teamwork and together bring connected vehicle services to one of our customers?

We are looking for a Java Developer with a strong interest in operations to join our team working with connected vehicle services. This is a hands‑on role where you will combine software development with cloud operations (Azure), automation, and production support.

You will be part of a high performing team responsible for developing, deploying, and operating cloud‑based services used by a global automotive customer. You will work across the full lifecycle of the solution – from development and deployment to monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain backend services and supporting components in a cloud‑native environment.

• Take an active role in operating services in production and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and take part in incident investigation and resolution.

• Improve observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.

• Automate operational tasks and improve deployment and operational processes.

• Contribute to root cause analysis and implement actions that prevent recurring incidents.

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the service.

• Take ownership of problems end-to-end and help drive them to resolution.
