Job summary

Cleeven is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to join our R&D departments, delivering innovative solutions for high-tech projects. You will analyze requirements, design electrical/electronic architectures, and implement embedded software in collaboration with clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of hands-on experience, plus fluency in English. You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams on diverse technologies.

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• You have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in a relevant engineering role.
• You’re curious, technically driven, and eager to tackle complex challenges.
• You communicate easily with end users and can effectively gather and synthesize their requirements.
• You’re a proactive problem solver who works independently and takes ownership of your tasks.
• You are fluent in English.

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you’ll be part of the R&D departments of our clients—leading companies in high-tech and consumer technology sectors. You’ll contribute to the full product development lifecycle, including:

• Requirements analysis
• Electrical and electronic architecture design
• Embedded software implementation

The most common technical tools and programming languages we use on our projects in this field are:

• System Modelling and Simulation: Matlab - Simulink
• Electronic Design/Simulation: Altium, Eagle, PSPICE or LTPSICE
• Development on PLC: Ladder Logic, FBD or Structured text
