Job summary

Cleeven in Stockholm is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and optimize mechanical systems across industrial and R&D projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, high‑performance solutions.

You will perform analyses, create 3D models and technical drawings, ensure compliance with standards, and contribute to innovation and best practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience in mechanical design, development, or analysis within industrial or R&D environments.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, or ANSYS.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and validating mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and technical analyses (thermal, structural, fatigue, etc.).
• Creating 3D models, technical drawings, and documentation in accordance with engineering standards.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant norms, codes, and quality requirements.
• Collaborating with electrical, manufacturing, testing, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Supporting prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contributing to innovation initiatives, optimization efforts, and the development of engineering best practices.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems across diverse industrial and R&D projects.
