Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika, Sweden seeks a Design Engineer to join the Mechanical Plant Design team. You will perform 3D modeling of parts and assemblies and create 2D drawings for detailed and plant design, collaborating with engineers across disciplines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and experience with NX/TC or similar tools, plus a collaborative mindset and a drive to learn new technologies in HV substations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawings in NX/TC or similar.
• Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn about new technologies.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Interest in High Voltage substation engineering.

Responsibilities

• Work in CAD software to model parts, assemblies and drawings.
