We are now looking for an Mechanical Engineer to our Fixed cameras & radar team at our HQ in Lund, Sweden.

As an employee of the FC&R (Fixed cameras & radar) mechanics group, you will participate actively in projects with different challenges and focuses. At FC&R we develop several proruct families of fixed cameras and integrated/stand alone radar products.

What you’ll do here as Mechanical Engineer?

In your role, you will have daily collaboration with other mechanical designers, electronics designers, industrial designers, product owners and more. The daily work as a Mechanical Engineer can be anything from creating new concepts, designing mechanical solutions, testing, building prototypes and discussing use cases with people from different disciplines within the company. As you will have great responsibility for the development of new products, often from the early idea stage to a finished product, it also means a great deal of cooperation with the implementation of the product in volume production. Here we work together with quality engineers, production technicians, suppliers, and more.

Who are you?

You are a passionate Mechanical Designer with a genuine interest in technology and a creative, curious mindset. You possess a university or college education in mechanical engineering or a related field. It is a distinct advantage if you master 3D CAD tools, particularly Creo Parametric, and feel comfortable transforming innovative ideas into robust physical designs.

You are motivated by the challenge of developing complete products, from the initial sketch to volume production, preferably within the consumer electronics or mechatronics area. You enjoy exploring new materials and manufacturing methods to find the best solutions.

As a person, you are a team player who is used to collaborating across disciplines, but you are also comfortable taking ownership of your designs and leading the mechanical development forward.
