Job summary

Incluso in Lund seeks a Mechanical Designer to drive concepts through to industrialization. You will design with Creo (PDMLINK) and lead tests, ensure cost/ manufacturing friendly results and coordinate with manufacturing stakeholders. The role is 100% onsite in Lund and starts 2026-12-01.

The position is a 13-month limited contract with potential extension. Strong English fluency and independent drive are essential for success in a scrum/kanban team.

Qualifications

• Robust design, cost-sensitive, serviceable and manufacturable.
• Experience with Creo and PDMLINK.
• Able to perform assembly testing.

Responsibilities

• Own concept creation to industrialization of solutions and products.
• Work with Creo and PDMLINK to create drawings and specs.
• Design for cost and manufacturing and verify via testing.
• Develop, test and evaluate theoretical designs.
• Plan and execute physical testing of solutions.
• Lead Technical Review Meetings with stakeholders.
• Document drawings and release kits.

Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer for a global company in Lund. Start is December 1st, 13 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Lund.

Description

As a mechanical designer, you will work as part of a scrum or kanban team in a broad role, taking ownership from concept creation to industrialization of the solutions and products. This includes construction in Creo according to standards and requirements, but also stakeholder management, verification and validation planning and execution, including physical testing of your solutions, verifying manuals, and securing industrialization for consistent quality in collaboration with relevant parties in chain of manufacturing, assembly and final testing.

Your daily tasks may include:

• Drive smaller PLC (Product Life Cycle) activities
• Work with Creo
• Design, specification and calculation of the construction equipment with focus on design for cost and manufacturing
• Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs
• Planning and executing physical testing of your solutions
• Drive Technical Review Meetings with stakeholders
• Documentation and release of drawings and kits

Required skills:
