Job summary

Husqvarna Group in Huskvarna, Sweden, is seeking Mechanical Engineers to help shape the next generation of handheld outdoor products. You will translate user needs into robust, manufacturable components with a focus on injection-molded plastics and die-cast parts, using CATIA V5 and Teamcenter.

You will collaborate with R&D, production and suppliers in a fast-changing environment, driving concepts from idea to validation while delivering real value to users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
• Experience with injection-molded plastics and die-cast parts is a plus.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and PLM Teamcenter preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, and improvements of mechanical components for chainsaws, focusing on injection-molded plastics and die-cast parts.
• Generate, develop, and evaluate concepts.
• Conduct root cause analysis to understand problem areas and enable effective problem-solving within design, production, and validation.
• Ensure robust designs through simulation and geometric requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with lab, design, calculation, production, R&D, and external suppliers.
