Job summary

Husqvarna Group in Huskvarna is seeking a Design Engineer to develop technically advanced components for professional handheld products, contributing to new product development and improvements of existing solutions.

You will work with 2D and 3D modelling, CATIA V5, concept evaluation, and design testing, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure production readiness and PPAP approvals.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience using CATIA V5 for 2D/3D modelling.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop new components and improve existing solutions.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models in CATIA V5.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to prepare production documentation and PPAP.
• Manage requirements and contribute to risk analyses.
• Follow up on tests and evaluate design solutions.
