Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
• Experience in mechanical design.
• Fluent in English and Swedish.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, and improvements of mechanical components for chainsaws, with a main focus on injection-molded plastics and die-cast parts.
• Generate, develop, and evaluate concepts.
• Conduct root cause analysis to understand problem areas and ensure effective problem-solving within design, production, and validation.
• Ensure robust designs through simulation and geometric requirements.
• Work in CATIA V5, where previous experience is an advantage, and the PLM system Teamcenter.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with lab, design, calculation, production, R&D, and external suppliers.
