Job summary

SEAB is seeking a consultant in Northern Sweden to work on mechanical and piping design projects. You will design and dimension mechanical systems, create piping models and manufacturing documents, and collaborate with clients on product and plant development.

You hold a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, with strong CAD skills and a structured, proactive approach. Remote work option is available along with a private office and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent through work experience.
• Experience in piping design, pipe dimensioning, or plant layout.
• Strong CAD skills with Inventor, SolidWorks or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Experience producing technical documentation for manufacturing and installation.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach to work.

About the Role

As a consultant at SEAB, you will enjoy a broad and varied workday. Your assignments may include, for example:

• Design and dimensioning of mechanical systems
• Development of piping models, piping specifications, and manufacturing documentation
• Technical investigations and analyses
• Product and plant development in collaboration with clients
• Creation of drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and installation

You enjoy problem-solving and can work both independently and as part of a project team. You are comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues and value building strong relationships.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who wants to work with mechanical and piping design.

You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or have equivalent competence gained through work experience.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in piping design, pipe dimensioning, or plant layout
• Strong CAD skills (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar)
• Experience in producing technical documentation for manufacturing and installation
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to work

Experience in calculations or project management is considered an advantage.
