Job summary

Jobtailor in Sweden seeks a researcher to develop, validate and apply advanced numerical models to support R&D decisions. You will build data structures for simulation parameters, outputs and metadata and apply FEM/DFT and statistical modeling to analyze material behavior and processes.

You will contribute to digitalization through model integration, automation and data‑driven approaches and collaborate with experts across R&D, production, quality and application to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics or similar
• Strong expertise in numerical modeling and simulation, such as FEM, DFT or related methods
• Experience in statistical analysis, data management and handling large datasets
• Programming skills in tools such as Python, SQL, MATLAB or similar environments
• Proven ability to connect models with experimental data and physical understanding

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and apply advanced numerical models to support R&D decision-making
