Job summary

Silex Microsystems AB in Sweden is seeking four experienced Team Managers to lead and develop the Service Team within Manufacturing. You will supervise Service Technicians, partner with Area Managers and Engineers, and contribute to reliable, efficient production in a highly collaborative environment.

The role combines people leadership with hands-on maintenance planning, ensuring clear communication, structured planning, and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or 10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance.
• Experience in leadership, coordination and people management.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English; Swedish is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop Service Technicians through clear communication, feedback and follow-up.
• Set and follow up individual and team goals and support competence development.
• Plan, coordinate and, if needed, perform maintenance activities and allocate work based on priorities and resources.
• Coordinate activities with other teams and shifts.
• Follow up KPIs and continuous improvement actions.
• Identify and elevate issues, risks and resource needs when required.

Education

Bachelors degree in engineering

10+ years of relevant experience in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance

Leadership and people management
