Silex Microsystems AB is seeking a Process Equipment Engineer for the Furnace Area to own technical health and continuous improvement of critical equipment. You will lead root cause analyses, develop preventive maintenance, and coordinate with Service Technicians, Process Engineers, and external suppliers.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have 5+ years manufacturing experience with strong equipment knowledge.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics)
• At least five years of manufacturing experience with strong equipment knowledge
• Experience with root cause analysis, data analysis, SPC, quality-control methods, equipment monitoring, and preventive maintenance systems

Mansioni

• Act as technical lead for furnace equipment, guiding service technicians and leading complex troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Coordinate technical escalations and align with Team Managers, Process Engineers, and suppliers.
• Define KPIs (uptime, MTBF, MTTR) and improve equipment monitoring through dashboards and SPC.
• Develop preventive maintenance routines and maintain technical documentation.
• Lead equipment-related risk analyses and ensure safety requirements (LOTO) are reflected in maintenance routines.
