Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead our Land Fixed Surveillance production in Täby. You will drive performance, optimize processes, and strengthen industrial execution for high‑performance infrared camera systems, collaborating across R&D, quality, and supply chain.

The role oversees assemblers, testers, warehouse personnel, and production planners, ensuring on-time delivery while fostering a safe, collaborative environment and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership.
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering production, quality, and operational targets.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, material flow, and performance management.
  • Experience improving manufacturing efficiency, implementing best practices, and increasing production output.
  • Experience cross-functional collaboration with R&D, quality, supply chain, and production engineering.
  • Experience with serial production of electrical/electronics and/or optical products is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a manufacturing organization of ~30 employees.
  • Ensure achievement of production targets in volume, quality, and delivery.
  • Drive efficient ways of working and implement best practices to improve efficiency and output.
  • Lead daily operational meetings, remove roadblocks, and report status to leadership.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, quality, supply chain, and production engineering to identify improvements.
  • Foster a motivated, accountable team culture with focus on safety, quality, and work environment.

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our Land Fixed Surveillance team in Arninge/Täby. This is a key leadership role within manufacturing, responsible for driving operational performance, strengthening execution, and supporting continued growth in production capability for our high-performance infrared camera systems.

The role includes leadership of assemblers, testers, warehouse personnel, and production planners, as well as close collaboration with R&D and other support functions to improve products, processes, and industrialization.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a manufacturing organization of approximately 30 employees, including assemblers, testers, warehouse workers, and production planners.
  • Ensure achievement of production targets in volume, quality, and delivery by maintaining the right staffing, competencies, and daily priorities.
  • Drive efficient ways of working and implement best practices to improve manufacturing efficiency and increase production output.
  • Lead daily operational meetings, remove roadblocks, and report manufacturing status, risks, and priorities to the leadership team.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, quality, supply chain, and production engineering to identify improvement opportunities and support stronger product industrialization.
  • Foster a motivated, accountable, and collaborative team culture with strong focus on safety, quality, and work environment.
Essential Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership.
  • Proven experience leading teams and delivering against production, quality, and operational targets.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, material flow, and performance management.

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
  • Structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
Additional Qualifications (Good To Have)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience with PLM systems, such as PTC Windchill or Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, industrial management, or related field.
