Job description

At Consilium Safety Group, we don’t just build technology — we create solutions that protect people, assets, and the planet. As a global leader in fire and gas safety, we serve critical industries such as marine, energy, rail, and construction.

With 100+ years of expertise and 55 offices worldwide, we combine industry knowledge with innovation to shape the future of SafetyTech. Backed by strong investors, we are on an exciting journey of transformation and growth, and we’re looking for a driven Manufacturing Engineer to join us.

The Role

As our Manufacturing Engineer, you will help develop and improve manufacturing processes, systems, and ways of working across our global organization. You will work at the intersection of manufacturing, business processes, and digital technology, ensuring that our systems support efficient and reliable operations.

You will focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and data-driven improvements. Working closely with manufacturing sites, IT, and external partners, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and establish global best practices.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring alignment with operational and business needs.
  • Support global manufacturing sites with D365 manufacturing processes and system-related challenges.
  • Drive and support ERP/MES implementations, rollouts, and integrations across global sites.
  • Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to develop practical system solutions.
  • Analyze and visualize manufacturing data using Power BI and similar tools to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Automate workflows and improve data flows using tools such as Power Apps.
  • Benchmark processes and system usage across sites to identify and implement best practices.
  • Drive manufacturing improvements using Lean methods, value stream mapping, visual management, and structured problem‑solving.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce lead times, costs, waste, and process complexity.
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a curious, proactive, and solution-oriented engineer with an interest in manufacturing processes and digital systems.

You bring:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering, Production or Manufacturing Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, reporting, and how ERP systems support business operations.
  • Experience with ERP and/or MES systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights, ideally using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and structured problem‑solving.
  • Initiative, a hands‑on mindset, and the ability to turn ideas into practical improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions, cultures, and geographical locations.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. We value a strong technical foundation, curiosity, and the motivation to learn, take ownership, and grow into the role.

Why Join Consilium Safety Group?
