Job summary

Galderma Nordic AB is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Uppsala manufacturing team. You will contribute to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our production operations in a highly regulated environment.

In this role you will execute planned and corrective maintenance on equipment, support installations and upgrades, and work closely with Maintenance, Engineering and Production to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and maintenance processes.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Support installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, and relocation of industrial equipment.
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure work follows plans, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans, programs, and processes.
• Support administration and continuous improvement of maintenance-related procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support transformation initiatives and continuous improvements within maintenance functions.
• Apply established maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
• Build strong working relationships across the organization and share knowledge.

Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations in a highly regulated and innovative environment.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. You will support the execution of repair and maintenance activities, contribute to equipment installations and upgrades, and help ensure that maintenance programs are delivered in line with business needs and operational requirements.

Working closely with colleagues across Maintenance, Engineering, and Production, you will help maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing environment while continuously seeking opportunities to improve maintenance practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute planned and corrective maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Support installation, repair, maintenance, dismantling, and relocation of industrial equipment.
• Monitor maintenance activities and ensure work is completed according to established plans, procedures, and standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans, programs, and processes.
• Support the administration and continuous improvement of maintenance-related procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support transformation initiatives and continuous improvements within the maintenance function.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
