About the Role

We are now looking for an experienced and driven Manager Process Engineering to lead and develop our engineering capabilities in Uppsala. This is a key leadership role where you will combine technical expertise with people leadership, driving performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of leading and developing a high‑performing Process Engineering team, creating the right conditions for both people and performance to thrive.
  • Through your leadership, ensure the team is aligned, motivated, and equipped to deliver on ambitious business goals.
  • Shape how manufacturing equipment and systems are designed and implemented, making sure they meet the highest standards of compliance, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Drive smart, future‑proof solutions by balancing the big picture and technical details.
  • Lead engineering projects from idea to reality, ensuring projects are executed efficiently while balancing quality, timelines, and cost in a highly regulated environment.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency, turning insights into tangible business outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor across the organization, supporting stakeholders on manufacturing equipment and process engineering.
  • Partner closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery of shared objectives.
  • Manage priorities, resources, and budgets within your area to keep engineering efforts effective and sustainable.
Key Requirements & Qualifications

Must‑have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum eight years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing engineering
  • Proven experience working in a GMP‑regulated environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams within engineering or manufacturing
  • Strong experience managing engineering or equipment‑related projects
  • Fluency in English

Nice‑to‑have

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and process optimization
  • Experience driving technology implementation or transformation initiatives
  • Experience working with external vendors and suppliers
  • Experience with budget responsibility and resource planning
  • Fluency in Swedish
