Job summary

Dow in Sweden is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support plants with maintenance craft-specific tasks, repairs and reliability improvements. You will work in a hands-on role combining field engagement with analytical problem-solving.

Fluency in Swedish and English is required; relocation is not offered. You will collaborate with operations to maintain plant equipment and contribute to safe, efficient performance.

Qualifications

• Higher education in electrical/automation or equivalent experience preferred.
• Relevant experience in process operations, manufacturing, or related field.
• Work experience in the process industry, manufacturing or related activities.

• Repair, maintain, and install equipment and machinery; troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, documenting failure analysis.
• Collect equipment operation data to improve reliability; work within established Maintenance Work Processes and help resolve issues.

About You And This Role

The Maintenance Technician is you will provide maintenance craft-specific support to plants, maintaining and repairing various types of equipment within your area of expertise. This role requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities. You may also act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

Qualifications

• Higher education in electrical/automation or equivalent knowledge acquired through practical experience plus maintenance, manufacturing, or other related experience preferred. In lieu of a degree, equivalent years of experience required.
