Job summary

Imagimob, part of Infineon Technologies, seeks a Machine Learning Engineer Automotive to design and deploy edge AI models for next-generation vehicles. You will work across machine learning, embedded software, and customer applications to deliver production-ready AI that enables safer and more efficient mobility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and edge deployment on resource-constrained devices.
• Experience with model optimization and real-time inference for automotive-grade MCUs.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, validate, and optimize ML models for automotive applications on Infineon microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with sensor, system, and application experts to select AI approaches for customer problems.
• Collect, preprocess, and label automotive sensor data; develop validation methodologies for real-world performance.
• Support customers and internal teams with AI use cases, proofs-of-concept, and reference implementations.
• Participate in customer workshops and technical solution reviews.
