Job summary

Imagimob, part of Infineon Technologies, is seeking a Software Engineer to design high-performance inference runtimes for automotive MCUs and to integrate AI inference pipelines into embedded stacks.

You will optimize latency, memory, and power while collaborating with firmware, hardware and algorithm engineers to enable safer, smarter vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Expert-level C/C++ development with debugging skills.
• Experience deploying AI/ML models to edge devices and toolchains.
• Familiarity with automotive embedded apps and ISO 26262 awareness.

Working across embedded software, AI deployment, and automotive applications, you will develop high-performance inference solutions that enable smarter, safer, and more efficient vehicles.Design and implement high-performance inference runtimes for Infineon Automotive microcontrollers and integrate AI inference pipelines into embedded software stacks and real-time operating system environmentsOptimize models and runtime performance for latency, memory usage, power efficiency, and reliabilityUtilize MCU-specific acceleration capabilities and architecture-specific optimizations and implement highly efficient mathematical libraries for embedded inferenceWork closely with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, and algorithm engineers to ensure successful system integrationSupport maintainable deployment processes through version control, reproducibility, and traceabilityEvaluate and apply appropriate tools and frameworks for model conversion, quantization, and on-device inferenceSupport strategic automotive customers during proof-of-concept and production phases and provide technical guidance on AI deployment best practicesYour profileQualifications and skills to help you succeedYou are a self-driven engineer who takes ownership, adapts to evolving priorities, and consistently delivers high-quality results.
