Job summary

Devies is seeking a Medior/Senior ML Engineer to strengthen our Malmö/Öresund presence. You will develop and evaluate models based on modern NN architectures and apply ML Ops to deliver scalable production systems.

You should have 3+ years of ML project experience, strong Python/SQL/Docker skills, and a passion for NLP, generative AI, and agentic workflows. You will join a small, collaborative team and shape our engineering culture from Malmö.

Medior+ Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Medior/Senior ML Engineer to strengthen our presence in Malmö/Öresund. The right candidate demonstrates solid experience in developing and evaluating models built on modern Neural Network (NN) architectures and applying ML Ops practices to deliver scalable and reliable production systems.

A strong foundation in machine learning (ML) and experience taking projects from concept through to deployment in production environments is required. An edge towards natural language processing (NLP), generative AI and agentic workflows is highly merited. As one of the first people to join these efforts in the Malmö/Öresund region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping culture and operative work.

What you’ll work with

• Full-cycle ML development: from ideation to prototyping, scaling, and deployment in production systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure business value is always at the center.
• Taking technical ownership of projects and contributing to discussions on architectures, methods, and tooling.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on ML project experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Docker and VCS, and willingness to actively learn and/or integrate solutions in codebases written in other languages, e.g. Go, C#, Rust, Scala.
• Solid grounding in software engineering best practices.
• Technical proficiency in prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, model fine-tuning, and evals of generative AI and agentic workflows.
