Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for a major data centre construction project in Sweden. You will oversee movement of materials, coordinate deliveries and storage, and ensure safe, timely operations on site.

The role includes rotations with flights, accommodation and a living allowance. The position requires experience in large-scale construction logistics, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple contractors on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities within the site compound and storage areas for data centre construction.
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure timely and safe delivery of materials for data centre projects.
• Monitor and direct traffic movements on site to avoid congestion and promote safety.
• Enforce site access protocols and supervise loading and unloading activities in construction zones for data centres.
• Support the Logistics Manager with delivery scheduling, logging, and record keeping for data centre construction sites.
• Attend logistics meetings, relay key information, and address operational issues related to data centre builds.
• Supervise logistics operatives, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on data centre construction projects.
• Report and resolve delivery, storage, or traffic management issues quickly and effectively within the context of data centre development.

Logistics Supervisor

Data Centre Construction, Dublin, Permanent Position – €50,000 to €55,000.

Working on Rotations with Flights Accommodation and living allowance added.

Candidates need full right to work in Ireland. We are unable to support work visas.

Our client, a leader in the data centre industry, is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the movement of materials on a major data centre construction project in Sweden. In this role, you will ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery and storage of materials, supporting the smooth running of site operations. This is a pivotal position for someone with experience in managing logistics within complex, large-scale construction environments, specifically related to data centres.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced data centre construction environment
• Additional qualifications in AP crane and temp works are advantageous for construction logistics
• Excellent communication skills and team management abilities for coordinated data centre construction activities
