Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Local Product Manager in Ludvika, Sweden. You will bridge global product strategy with local market needs, ensuring regulatory compliance and market competitiveness across Europe.

You will collaborate with Global Product Management, sales, engineering, and customers to drive portfolio improvements while supporting qualifications, homologations, and complex tenders. The role requires office presence and cross-functional leadership across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in power systems, capacitors, or HV equipment is an advantage.
• Experience in product management or similar customer-/product-oriented role is beneficial.
• Commercial mindset with interest in customer and market needs.
• Familiarity with the European energy market and regulatory requirements is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive the local execution of global product strategies, product changes, and portfolio decisions.
• Serve as the primary local product expert for customer qualifications and complex tender activities across Europe.
• Gather market, customer, and regulatory insights to strengthen the product portfolio and growth.
• Ensure compliance with European standards, sustainability requirements, and product regulations during launches and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Global Product Management, feeder factories, and cross-functional teams to improve portfolio performance and customer satisfaction.
