Kambi Sweden AB is looking for a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join the Engineering Operations team. You will build and maintain on‑prem infrastructure using Ubuntu, Debian, KVM, Ceph, DNS/DHCP/NTP, and modern monitoring/automation tools.

A security‑first mindset and agile collaboration are essential as we scale a global platform. You'll work across automation tooling (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions) and private cloud environments to deliver reliable and scalable systems.

For our Engineering Operations department, we are searching an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer with automation skills. Engineering Operations supports the infrastructure of the organisation and the success of our partners. We ensure a stable environment twenty-four seven,year-round and we like open source in all flavours. We are dedicated to agile operations, believe dev-ops and automation are great ways of achieving that, whilst using agile methodologies to support our efforts along the road.

The role

In this role, you’ll build and maintain on-prem infrastructure with a wide variety of technologies around the globe. You’ll do this by delivering reliable, scalable, and universally available systems.

Technologies we are working with today include Ubuntu, Debian, infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, NTP), globally hosted servers, virtualization (KVM), storage (Ceph), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix), automation (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions - reusable workflows) and private cloud environments, alongside our on-prem infrastructure.

Who are you?

We’re looking for a solution-oriented team player with a solid background in Linux. It is also beneficial if you have experience with infrastructure automation, basic understanding of networking (such as dynamic routing, data centre switching, site‑to‑site VPNs) and a “security first\" approach.

An agile mindset is crucial for us, and additionally experience working with Ubuntu, Debian and Puppet profiles would be a great fit within this team.
