Job summary

Kambi is seeking a Linux Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain on-prem infrastructure with a wide variety of technologies for a global platform. You will ensure reliable, scalable systems and automate workflows using Puppet, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, across UTC time zones.

You should bring a strong Linux background, familiarity with Ubuntu and Debian, basic networking, and a security‑first mindset. Join a collaborative DevOps team in a fast‑moving, open source–friendly environment.

For our Engineering Operations department, we are searching an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer with automation skills. The role

In this role, you'll build and maintain on-prem infrastructure with a wide variety of technologies around the globe. You'll do this by delivering reliable, scalable, and universally available systems.

Technologies we are working with today include Ubuntu, Debian, infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, NTP), globally hosted servers,

virtualization (KVM), storage (Ceph), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix), automation (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub Actions - reusable workflows) and private cloud environments, alongside our on-prem infrastructure.

Who are you?

We're looking for a solution-oriented team player with a solid background in Linux. It is also beneficial if you have experience with infrastructure automation, basic understanding of networking (such as dynamic routing, data centre switching, site-to-site VPNs) and a "security first" approach.

An agile mindset is crucial for us, and additionally experience working with Ubuntu, Debian and Puppet profiles would be a great fit within this team.
