Job summary

GKN Aerospace Sweden in Trollhättan is seeking a Linux Engineer to develop, maintain and administer Linux (Red Hat) systems and related hardware for the Nordic and global sites. You will troubleshoot, document and communicate risks, becoming the third Linux engineer in the team.

The role involves delivering Linux-based systems to SLA, participating in projects, and driving automation of IT infrastructure delivery while collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience.
• Self-driven with motivation to deliver best-in-class services.
• Experienced Linux Engineer in medium to large company.
• Good communication skills in English and Swedish.
• Team-oriented and open to learning new things.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Linux Red Hat based systems to SLA.
• Deploy industry best practice approaches and standards.
• Be part of implementation and refresh projects.
