Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Nyctea Technologies seeks a technical project lead and project manager to steer the development of our electrical purification technology for biologics. You will work with the CEO to shape the product and align engineering efforts with regulatory and commercial goals.
You will lead the engineering team day-to-day, produce Design History Files, translate product requirements into work packages, and serve as the technical point of contact for customer demos, installations and on-site support.
Biologic medicines are transforming treatment of cancer, autoimmune diseases, and rare conditions. Yet purification, a critical step in their manufacturing, still relies on decades-old technology, creating a bottleneck that slows the development of new therapies and limits patient access to existing ones.
Nyctea exists to remove that bottleneck. We are developing a patented electrical purification technology, originating from Chalmers University of Technology, that can make biologics manufacturing more efficient and significantly less resource-intensive. Our technology is validated through partnerships with global pharma companies, and key patents are approved across major markets. Now we need to turn proven science into a product. That is the challenge at the heart of this role.
You will be the technical project lead and project manager for Nyctea’s product development, responsible for both the hands‑on technical leadership of the engineering team and the project discipline needed to bring a product to market. You will work alongside the CEO, who holds the system architecture and product management responsibilities, and together form the core of the product development organisation.
As the company grows, a dedicated quality lead will join the team. Until then, you will work closely with the CEO to establish the documentation and quality frameworks needed for commercial deployment.
This role requires both domain expertise and project management experience. Project management skills alone are not sufficient, you need to understand the technical and regulatory landscape of the product you are building.
If you recognise yourself in most of this but not all, we still encourage you to apply.
