Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to drive discovery for a strategic Party Master Data Management initiative in financial services. You will translate enterprise needs into validated requirements and practical target processes, collaborating with business areas, data specialists, architects, and governance stakeholders.

You will lead workshops, define governance, and shape future-state operating models while ensuring alignment across delivery teams and business units.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within complex enterprise transformation programs.
• Strong experience with Party or Customer Master Data Management, customer-data initiatives, or related data-governance programs.
• Solid banking or broader financial-services experience, including work in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to lead workshops, manage senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, and build consensus across functions.
• Excellent requirements, process-modelling, traceability, and documentation skills.
• A structured and pragmatic mindset, with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear decisions and actionable outcomes.
• Availability to work on-site in Stockholm as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and facilitate discovery workshops across business areas and group functions.
• Translate business objectives and stakeholder needs into clear requirements, use cases, business rules, and target processes.
• Define ownership, decision rights, and governance requirements for Party and Customer master data.
• Assess current processes, identify gaps, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, and help shape the future-state operating model.
• Drive prioritisation, requirements traceability, validation, and formal stakeholder sign-off.
• Produce clear, decision-ready documentation and ensure alignment between business, data, architecture, and delivery teams.
• Support roadmap development, implementation planning, and business-case inputs.
