Job summary

Valmet in Gothenburg is seeking two Lead Engineers, Pressure Vessels and Tanks. You will lead the discipline team across customer delivery projects and collaborate with piping, structural and process design colleagues.

Global project delivery and occasional travel are expected. We value extensive experience in engineering design, drafting, supplier interactions, and knowledge of EN/ASME/GB standards, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
More than 10 years of experience in a similar industry with engineering design, drafting and supplier interactions.
Experience working in a global environment and ability to lead across disciplines.
Knowledge of EN, ASME and GB standards is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the discipline team in delivery projects.
Maintain and be responsible for the discipline budget.
Prepare technical documentation for procurement and manufacturing of equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks).
Follow up on manufacturing via drawing reviews and supplier communication.
Support installation work at customer or workshop sites, remotely or on-site.
Travel to suppliers or customer sites during project execution as needed.
