About the Department
Within the Industrial Karlstad department, approximately 50 skilled employees specialize in Electrical, Instrument and Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, and Plant Engineering. We work in project groups with commitments covering all technical areas, offering expert assistance to customers in planning, designing, and optimizing various types of industrial facilities and energy systems. Our primary focus is on projects within the process industry, where we act as close partners to our clients. The department collaborates with other divisions within the industrial division to provide impactful solutions. Here, you will become a key player in our team!
Your expertise is the key to our success. We work across borders and in different business areas, sharing knowledge and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You contribute your expertise while also having the opportunity to learn from the best. You are a specialist in electrical engineering, and your primary responsibility within the team is to lead the current discipline in our industrial clients' projects and pave the way for technical development.
Your daily responsibilities will include having contact with customers as our point of contact and ambassador. Through your own work and collaboration with customers and COWI's organization, you take responsibility for the tasks and challenges our customers wish to address.

You are a trained electrical engineer/designer with more than three years of experience in electrical engineering. Formal education can be compensated with experience in installation/operation. You have knowledge in LV switchgear, distribution, and cable calculations. Desirable for the position is if you have experience as a handler/project manager and design in high-voltage installations. Substations and switchgear constructions within industrial projects will be part of your duties. We highly value your ability to drive and develop projects with customer focus, as well as your strong commitment and solution-oriented approach.
