Job summary

Telenor is seeking a Lead Developer for the Online Sales team to guide skilled developers across frontend and backend domains. You will mentor, lead by example, and contribute hands-on in a complex tech stack while shaping the evolution of architecture and customer experience.

In this role you will collaborate with architects, UX, and product teams, drive TDD and quality, and ensure scalable, secure platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript and frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue).
• Experience with microfrontend architectures and component patterns.
• Design Systems and component libraries experience.
• Responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong backend expertise in .NET/C# web applications.
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL integrations.
• Headless CMS architecture using Contentful.
• TDD and quality-first development practices.
• Proficient with Cloud, DevOps, and Observability tools (AWS, Redis, CI/CD, ELK/Splunk/APM).
• Security best practices and secure coding awareness.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Lead developer for our Online Sales team, enabling all digital sales journeys on Telenor.se. You will guide and lead highly skilled developers operating in a complex landscape; balancing team growth, AI adoption, technical evolution, and customer experience improvements. We are looking for someone who holds a deep conceptual understanding of frontend software development, but you will also be expected to do hands‑on work yourself. We believe the correct person for this role and team is both a leader, mentor and a doer.

• Third-party system integrations (REST APIs and GraphQL).

• Headless CMS architecture (Contentful).

Testing & Quality

• TDD and quality-first development.

• Clean code, maintainability and engineering best practices.

Cloud, DevOps & Observability

• Cloud platforms (AWS).

• Distributed caching strategies (Redis).

• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Observability and performance analysis (ELK, Splunk, Elastic APM).

Accessibility

• WCAG, semantic HTML and inclusive design.

• Accessibility testing and compliance.

Security

• Security best practices.

• Secure coding and privacy by design.

Good-to-have

• E-commerce and digital sales flows.

• Feature management and experimentation platforms.

• AI-assisted software development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
