Job summary

SKF is seeking a Senior Process Specialist for Additive Manufacturing in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will bridge technology development with production, leading L-PBF process qualification and continuous improvement across product and manufacturing teams.

The role requires advanced degree in engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience in metal AM, strong CAD/DfAM skills, and English communication. Local contract with opportunities to influence SKF’s additive growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years hands-on L-PBF experience.
• Experience moving additive processes from development to production.
• Strong knowledge of L-PBF machines, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with process monitoring and QA software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify L-PBF processes for metallic materials.
• Bridge technology development with product/manufacturing rollout.
• Lead process verification and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and QA teams.
