Join our team as a Laboratoriespecialist in Uppsala

At Cytiva, working within the Life Science industry means being at the forefront of developing new solutions to improve human health. Our work spans from basic biological research to innovative vaccines, new medicines, and cell and gene therapies.

Join a diverse team of 12 professionals in our Quality Control (QC) department, where we analyze and ensure the quality of products from our Uppsala site using techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, ÄKTA instruments, and spectrophotometry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analyses according to established instructions.
  • Report, review, and approve analyses of products and contractual analyses.
  • Initiate and conduct investigations for deviations and unexpected results.
  • Perform checks, calibrations, and maintenance of analytical instruments.
  • Update and approve work instructions and methods.
Minimum Requirements
  • Higher education in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or equivalent.
  • Previous laboratory experience in QC operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with chromatographic techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, or ÄKTA.
  • Knowledge of lean methodology is a plus.
