Job summary

Saab is strengthening its platform engineering capabilities and seeks two DevOps Engineers to help design, build and modernise Kubernetes platform services across the organisation. You will work hands-on with modern platform technologies, contribute to automation, reliability, and security, and participate in on-call rotation to ensure smooth delivery.

Qualifications

Several years of experience as a DevOps/Platform/Infrastructure Engineer.
Strong Kubernetes and container-based platform experience.
Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience working in Linux-based environments.
Good understanding of CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
Experience operating business-critical services.
Understanding of cloud-native technologies and platform engineering principles.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and improve Kubernetes-based platform services.
Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives to improve efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to platform engineering practices and self-service capabilities.
Support and enable development teams using the platform.
Participate in the design and implementation of new platform capabilities.
Contribute to the migration and modernisation of existing platform services.
Troubleshoot, optimise, and continuously improve platform performance, stability, and security.
Work across development and operations to ensure reliable service delivery.
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate technical requirements into practical solutions; contribute to roadmap discussions and continuous improvements.
